What makes learning especially meaningful for most of us is often not simply due to the fact that learning takes place, but that it feeds into our lived experience in all spheres of life in expected and unexpected ways. This bridging of learning and life constitutes the focus of inspired 15, in which three graduate students and a recent graduate write about what their studies mean to them and how learning has taken them to places of self-discovery. Accompanying these four features are the “my_ philosophy” column which makes its return despite the pandemic, and a new column titled “quick stats” which, as the name suggests, provides a snapshot of life at OUM. Saving the best for last, the inspired team wishes to congratulate Associate Professor Dr Ahmad Izanee Awang for his recent appointment as the new Vice Chancellor of OUM, and En. Muhammad Afiq Redzuan, the newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Meteor Group.
