inspired 16 is the first issue to be published since OUM came under a
new management team earlier this year, and we are pleased to feature
here inspired’s first interview with OUM’s new President/Vice-Chancellor,
AP Dr Ahmad Izanee Awang. Up close and personal, Dr Izanee opens
up on the things that are important to him, and the strategic plans
he has put in place as OUM enters its third decade post-founding.
Complementing the feature are the my_philosophy column, this time
highlighting Dr Zahir Osman and Suhaila Abdul Hamid, and the recentlyintroduced
column, quickstats, which, in this issue, gives us a snapshot
of the composition of OUM active learners by ethnicity.
We wish all readers a productive semester ahead.
Best
Dr David Lim, Editor
